LA MUSICA PER STARE INSIEME:
gli studenti americani incontrano gli studenti italiani

Proposta:
attraverso la realizzazione di un progetto musicale di alta qualità si intende
creare i presupposti per far incontrare, durante il loro semestre fiorentino,
gli studenti delle università americane e i ragazzi italiani.

Il progetto è rivolto ai ragazzi che a vari livelli praticano la musica.

Finalità:
La proposta prevede la realizzazione del musical "West Side Story" e presentarlo

Firenze Live! is supporting the Safe & Sound project, which seeks to inform students in Florence of events and night-time activities not associated with bars and alcohol through a monthly publication that includes an interview with someone in the city regarding social issues and a "map" of night-time activities which they have vetted and deemed "Safe & Sound".

The project is funded entirely (so far) by the young Italians that are making it happen, and is not a commercial activity. The events and activities that appear in their publication have not (nor could they) paid for the privilege.

Firenze Live! has been working with a group, "Florence Association for Cultural Exchange", founded by Italian university students, which seeks to offer cultural excursions and night-time fun for people their own age. They currently boast a wide roster of events that see the involvement of Italians and Erasmus students.
