Firenze Live! is supporting the Safe & Sound project, which seeks to inform students in Florence of events and night-time activities not associated with bars and alcohol through a monthly publication that includes an interview with someone in the city regarding social issues and a "map" of night-time activities which they have vetted and deemed "Safe & Sound".

The project is funded entirely (so far) by the young Italians that are making it happen, and is not a commercial activity. The events and activities that appear in their publication have not (nor could they) paid for the privilege.

The project has growning support from the city of Florence, and as such we feel confident that your students can benefit from the work these young Italians are doing.
